Behind the Scenes

D1WA is a not-for-profit motorsport club, run by volunteers, that provides fun, practice and competition-style events catering to all the needs of the drifting community. We offer events for all levels of drivers, whether you are new to drifting, want to do fun events or interested in competition-style events.

By providing these events, we are reducing anti-social behaviour on our public roads and offering an environment where it is safe for you to test your skills. We encourage drivers of all age groups and skill levels to come down and give it a try.

D1WA also hosts the only state championship in Western Australia where drivers showcase their skills, battling it out to see who is number one! The action isn’t just for the drivers, our events are just as much fun for spectators. With passenger-ride opportunities at most of our events, our spectators get to be a part of the action too!

With the sport of drifting growing every year, we are excited about the club’s future and the growing list of venues and events we are planning to host. Our mission is to continue providing safe, fun and exciting events for drivers, officials, volunteers and spectators.
